We begin on paper, working out where metal, stone, leather or pearl will sit on the new back panel and around the tall, pill-shaped camera island of the Galaxy Z Fold8.
02 — Craft
Handwork
In our Dubai atelier the panel is plated, fitted and polished. The screens and internals are never opened and the frame and hinge are never plated, so the fold behaves as Samsung intended.
03 — Signature
Delivery
Each phone is checked, certified and packed in the GoldPrivé leather box with a gift bag, Samsung’s documentation and a USB‑C cable.

Our atelier fits a new back panel plated 5–7 microns thick in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, finishes the camera surround to match and adds the design: relief, Rhodium texture, leather, pearl or an 18K solid gold amulet. Is the gold Galaxy Z Fold8 a real Samsung?
Yes. Every design starts from a factory-new, unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8. We replace the back with a new panel plated 5–7 microns thick in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, and the screens and internals are never opened.
Is a customised Fold8 water resistant?
No. Samsung rates the unmodified Galaxy Z Fold8 at IP48, but once customised the phone must be treated as not water resistant, so keep it away from water and other liquids.
Does the customisation affect the fold or charging?
The fold is unaffected, as the frame and hinge are never plated. On Prime, Rhodium and Evil Eye the metal back blocks wireless charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay (NFC): charge by USB‑C cable and pay by card. On Exotic Leather and Mother of Pearl it varies; on Classic it should work as standard. A consultant confirms before you order.
Is the gold Fold8 unlocked?
Yes. Each phone is supplied unlocked, so it works with the carrier of your choice in most countries.
Which storage sizes can I choose?
Three: 256GB or 512GB, both with 12GB of RAM, or 1TB with 16GB of RAM. Storage is the only thing that changes the price.
Which metals can I choose?
24K Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum, all at the same price. The metal covers the back panel and camera surround, or just the two lens rings on Classic, which keeps Samsung’s Graphite, Cream or Lavender rear. Samsung’s Pistachio colour is not offered.
What makes the Evil Eye designs different?
Each of the four carries a protective symbol — the eye, the hamsa hand or the Meandros key pattern — cast as an 18K solid gold amulet and set with simulated diamonds on the plated back.

Can my Fold8 be engraved?
Yes. Names, initials, a logo or artwork can be engraved, within what the chosen design allows. Consultants confirm the wording and the schedule before work starts.

Yes. Companies can order the Galaxy Z Fold8 with their logo as a corporate gift, and a consultant helps plan the presentation for each recipient.
