Pyramid Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 in 24K Gold, Rose Gold & Platinum
Price range: $ 4,590 through $ 5,290$ 2,690
Pyramid covers the back of Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold8 in minute raised pyramids, broken by one smooth chevron plate, all plated in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. Frame and hinge stay original. 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.
Texture You Can Feel The Pyramid Gold Galaxy Z Fold8
Close your eyes and pick up the Pyramid Gold Galaxy Z Fold8: your fingertips find row after row of tiny four-sided points before you see a thing. This hobnail texture, a pattern metalworkers have used for centuries, runs from edge to edge across the back of a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8. In our Dubai atelier the original rear is exchanged for this textured panel, and the whole surface is plated at 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum.
Around the middle the texture pauses. A broad chevron of smooth metal, with a shorter square tab hanging from its centre, is held in place by small screw heads at its corners, a sharp geometric outline against the texture. The tall camera island at the upper left, framing two lenses, is polished to match, and the pyramids resume below the chevron down to a GoldPrivé nameplate. The frame and hinge are left as Samsung finished them, and every metal costs the same. Pyramid is one of the Prime designs on Samsung’s wider, lighter foldable.
Grain Against Polish Inside the Pyramid Gold Galaxy Z Fold8
Tilt the phone under a lamp and the texture glitters point by point while the chevron stays one still mirror. That contrast is created entirely by the parts we make; Samsung’s hinge and Armor Aluminum frame are never plated, and the inner 7.6-inch and outer 5.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, the pair of 50MP cameras and the 4,800mAh battery remain sealed. Galaxy AI, 5G and Samsung’s security updates through July 2033 carry on as normal.
The single practical difference concerns anything that has to travel through the back. A sheet of plated metal will not let a wireless charger’s field or Samsung Wallet’s NFC handshake pass, so Pyramid draws its power over USB‑C, and you reach for a card or another device at the till.
Samsung Specifications
Galaxy Z Fold8 Under the Hobnail
Pyramid keeps every Samsung component, so the figures below are those Samsung Gulf publishes for the Galaxy Z Fold8; weight and thickness apply to the standard handset before customisation. Samsung’s full data sheet is available here.
Our plated back means no wireless charging and no Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay; charging is by USB‑C cable instead. IP48 is Samsung’s rating for the original phone, so treat a customised Pyramid as unprotected and keep it dry.
Engraved and Boxed Personalising Your Pyramid Gold Galaxy Z Fold8
Letters cut into a studded surface would vanish among the points, so on Pyramid an inscription belongs on the flat chevron, where a monogram or short name reads crisply. Share your idea on our personalisation page and a GoldPrivé specialist will say what fits before production starts.
Inside the GoldPrivé leather presentation box and gift bag you will find the phone, Samsung’s paperwork, a USB‑C lead, a 20W power adapter and a certificate of authenticity that can be validated on our verification page. Insuring a precious-metal phone is worth planning; our insurance guide walks through it. The adapter comes with every phone we supply; a phone you send us for customisation is returned without one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Pyramid Questions Before You Choose a Textured Fold8
What exactly do you change?
Two things. Samsung’s rear is swapped for our textured panel with its chevron plate, plated 5–7 microns thick, and the camera island is polished to match. Hinge, frame, displays and electronics are never altered.
Does the texture feel sharp?
Not at all. Each pyramid is tiny and the rows are tightly packed, so the back feels like fine knurling rather than spikes, and it grips far better than a mirror finish.
Can I charge wirelessly or use Samsung Wallet?
No. The plated back of the Pyramid Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 blocks wireless power and the NFC signal alike; plug in a USB‑C cable to charge and pay by card.
Which memory options can I order?
Pyramid is offered as 256GB or 512GB, both with 12GB of RAM, or as 1TB with 16GB.
How much is Pyramid?
From $ 4,590 at 256GB up to $ 5,290 at 1TB. Rose Gold, 24K Gold and Platinum carry the same price.
What warranty is included?
Purchased from Leronza, the phone has a one-year device warranty and a two-year warranty on the customisation through GoldPrivé Care. Please keep it dry after customisation.
Can I send you the Fold8 I already have?
Certainly. Post it to Dubai and pay for our customisation alone; transport to us and back, plus any customs duties, are for you to arrange and cover.
Which design is closest to Pyramid?
Imperial uses the same studded ground but adds a jaguar on a lined white chevron. Elite is smooth throughout, Flora is floral and Prestige Link has a chain. Want more screen? There is a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra version as well.
