Not every precious phone needs to announce itself across a room. The Graphite Galaxy Z Fold8 Gold Accents keeps the back in Graphite, a deep charcoal with a soft satin look that Samsung itself names and offers for this phone, and adds metal in exactly two places: a fine ring around each camera lens, plated 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. Each one starts as a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 and is finished by hand in our Dubai atelier.

On the render the effect is clear at a glance. The tall camera island stays dark, so the two rings, one stacked above the other at the upper left, glow against it like a pair of small coins. Gold looks warm and rich, rose gold softer and pinker, platinum cool and bright. Everything else is Samsung’s clean, uninterrupted Graphite. The frame and hinge are never plated, and all three ring metals are priced the same. Graphite belongs to our Classic line, the most understated way into a gold Fold8.

A Light Touch Why the Graphite Galaxy Z Fold8 Gold Accents Stays So Close to Stock

Our part here is intentionally small: a Graphite rear and two slender bands of precious metal. We never open the phone, so the 7.6-inch main screen and 5.5-inch cover screen, both Dynamic AMOLED 2X, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, the 50MP wide and ultra wide cameras and the 4,800mAh battery stay exactly as Samsung sealed them. No plating reaches the Armor FlexHinge or the Armor Aluminum frame either.

Because the back is not a sheet of metal, the conveniences a fully plated phone gives up are expected to remain. Wireless charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay should work as standard, and a GoldPrivé consultant confirms both for your exact configuration before the order is placed. Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM and security updates until 31 July 2033 continue just as on any Fold8.

Where is the precious metal on this phone?

Only on the two rings that circle the camera lenses, each plated at 5–7 microns. The Graphite back and the dark camera island keep their colour, and the frame, hinge, screens and internals are untouched.

Is Graphite a Samsung colour?

Yes, Graphite is Samsung’s own name for this shade. Samsung also sells the Fold8 in Lavender, Cream and Pistachio; our Classic line offers Graphite, Cream and Lavender, but not Pistachio.

Do wireless charging and Samsung Wallet still work?

Graphite, Cream or Lavender: how do I choose?

Only the back colour differs. Graphite is the darkest and gives the rings the strongest contrast, Cream is light and soft, and Lavender brings a gentle violet. For a back that is entirely precious metal, consider Elite.
