Between the restraint of a single bar and the drama of four, the Nucleus 2.0 Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 settles on a pair. Its base is Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold8, a broader, book-shaped foldable that reaches us sealed and unlocked, and which Samsung bills as the world’s lightest foldable. Our craftsmen in Dubai lift away its glass back, fit a fresh panel with a dark interlocking-hexagon relief and give both chevrons a 5–7 micron layer of Platinum, Rose Gold or 24K Gold.

The two bars ride high, directly below the camera island, and each bows gently towards a low point in the middle like a pair of shallow wings. Small screw heads punctuate them. Beneath, the hexagons are left open, a quiet dark field that ends at a little plated GoldPrivé plate. The lens surround wears the same metal, framing both cameras. Pictured in Noir, the panel can also be ordered in Rose Fuchsia, Royale Blue, Crimson Red or Verdant at no extra cost. Neither the frame nor the hinge is plated. Balance in Detail Polish Set Against Relief

In the close view the contrast does the talking. The bars are mirror-bright, the hexagons soft and light-absorbing, and the gap between the chevrons lets a stripe of texture show through. That is the extent of our work. Samsung’s Armor Aluminum frame and Armor FlexHinge receive no plating, which keeps the fold precise, and the device is never taken apart: both Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens, 7.6 inches inside and 5.5 inches outside, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, the twin 50MP rear cameras and the 4,800mAh battery remain as Samsung assembled them.

A plated rear blocks both pad charging and the NFC handshake Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay relies on, so you top up over a USB‑C cable, using 25W Super Fast Charging, and tap a card or a second device at the till.

We remove Samsung’s glass back and fit a new hexagon-textured panel in your colour. Its two chevrons and the GoldPrivé plate are plated 5 to 7 microns thick, and the lens surround is done in the same metal. No plating touches the frame or hinge, and the phone’s interior is left sealed.

Do you start from a new handset?

Always: a brand-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8, customised by hand in Dubai. Clients who already own this model can post it to us instead and pay just for the customisation, arranging shipping and customs in both directions themselves.

Can it use a wireless charger or Samsung Wallet?

Neither. The metal-plated rear of the Nucleus 2.0 Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 blocks the charging field and the NFC that tap-to-pay needs. Use the USB‑C cable for power and a card or another device for contactless purchases.
