Elite Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 in 24K Gold, Rose Gold & Platinum
Price range: $ 4,090 through $ 4,790$ 2,190
Elite dresses Samsung’s new, wider Galaxy Z Fold8 in one unbroken sheet of precious metal: a plated back panel and a matching camera island, with the frame and hinge kept exactly as Samsung made them. Available with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.
Pure Metal, Nothing More The Gold Plated Galaxy Z Fold8 Elite
Elite is the Gold Plated Galaxy Z Fold8 for anyone who believes the finest ornament is none at all. Samsung has redrawn its book-style foldable this year, shorter and broader than before, and calls the result the world’s lightest foldable. We take a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 into our Dubai atelier, fit a new rear panel finished in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum to a thickness of 5–7 microns, and polish the tall pill-shaped camera island in the same metal.
What remains on the back is almost nothing, on purpose: two lenses stacked at the upper left, a discreet line naming the metal near the foot, a GoldPrivé mark beneath it, and a broad, uninterrupted mirror in between. On this wider panel it reads like a gilded notebook cover. Frame and hinge stay in Samsung’s factory finish, and since all three metals share one price, the only real decision is colour. Elite opens the Prime line.
Craft Where It Counts Inside a Gold Plated Galaxy Z Fold8
Our work stops at two parts: the new back and the camera island. The Armor FlexHinge is never plated, so the closing action and the flush shut are exactly as Samsung engineered them. Neither the 7.6-inch main display nor the 5.5-inch cover display is lifted, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, both 50MP cameras and the 4,800mAh battery stay sealed. Galaxy AI, 5G and Samsung’s security updates, scheduled until 31 July 2033, simply continue.
Solid metal does change one routine. A Gold Plated Galaxy Z Fold8 cannot pass the field used for wireless charging, nor the NFC exchange behind Samsung Wallet’s tap-to-pay. Elite therefore draws power through its USB‑C cable, and contactless purchases are handled by a card or another device. With 25W wired charging, few owners miss the pad.
Samsung Specifications
Galaxy Z Fold8 The Samsung Inside, Figure by Figure
Underneath, Elite is an ordinary Galaxy Z Fold8, so the table repeats the figures Samsung Gulf publishes; weight and thickness describe the phone as Samsung ships it, before our panel goes on. Check any line on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 specification page.
Customisation alters one row: the plated back rules out wireless charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay, so power arrives over USB‑C. IP48 is Samsung’s rating for the unmodified phone; once plated, an Elite should be kept dry.
Make It Yours Engraving and Unboxing Elite
A blank mirror invites a signature. Your initials, a short inscription or a corporate emblem can be engraved on the clear space between lens island and GoldPrivé mark. Describe it through our personalisation service and a GoldPrivé specialist agrees lettering and placement before the panel is made.
Elite is delivered in a GoldPrivé leather presentation box inside a gift bag, together with Samsung’s paperwork, a USB‑C charging lead, a 20W power adapter and a certificate of authenticity whose number anyone can confirm on our verification page. Planning to insure it? Our guide to insuring a gold phone lists what an underwriter will ask for. The adapter comes with every phone we supply; a phone you send us for customisation is returned without one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Elite, Explained Questions on the Gold Plated Galaxy Z Fold8
Exactly which parts are new?
Two: a replacement rear panel carrying 5–7 microns of your chosen metal, and the polished island framing the two lenses. Frame, hinge, both screens and every internal component remain as Samsung built them.
Is the phone underneath a real Galaxy Z Fold8?
Always. Each Elite starts as a factory-new, unlocked handset, finished by hand in Dubai. Prefer to use a Fold8 you already have? Post it to us and you are billed for our work only, with transport and customs each way at your expense.
Will it charge on a pad or pay by tap?
No. The metal back of the Gold Plated Galaxy Z Fold8 Elite stops both wireless charging and the NFC link Samsung Wallet needs. Plug in the USB‑C cable to charge, and pay with a card.
Which memory and storage can I choose?
256GB or 512GB, each paired with 12GB of RAM, or 1TB with 16GB of RAM, in any of the three metals.
What does the Elite cost?
From $ 4,090 for 256GB to $ 4,790 for 1TB. Storage alone moves the figure; Platinum costs the same as 24K Gold or Rose Gold.
Is there a warranty, and is it safe near water?
Bought through Leronza, the handset is guaranteed for one year and our customisation for two, under GoldPrivé Care. Treat it as unprotected against water; IP48 applies only to the phone as Samsung sells it.
Is there an Elite with a bigger screen?
Yes, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra edition of Elite uses Samsung’s larger foldable. This version suits anyone who prefers the lighter, wider passport shape.
How is Elite different from the other Prime designs?
It is the only one left completely bare. Prestige Link adds a curb chain along one edge, Pyramid covers the back in tiny raised pyramids, Imperial sets a jaguar across a lined white chevron, and Flora is sculpted with roses. Compare them in the Prime category.
