Few phones invite a signature quite like the Knots & Leather Gold Galaxy Z Fold8. Each one begins as a factory-new, unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, the broader, passport-proportioned book foldable that Samsung presents as the world’s lightest foldable. In our Dubai atelier the glass back comes off and a hand-finished panel goes on; its metal and the tall camera pill are plated 5–7 microns deep in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. The Armor Aluminum frame and the hinge are left bare.

The wider back gives the pattern space. Ribbons of polished metal interlace like woven cane across about two thirds of the surface, a raised texture in the spirit of a basket weave that closes neatly around both lenses. A smooth upright bar marks the boundary; our renders letter it NAME AND INITIALS HERE simply to hold the place for your own words. Where Our Work Stops A Personal Back on Factory Engineering

Weave, bar and leather on the Knots & Leather Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 all belong to the replacement back, and the plated camera surround is the only other change. Nothing inside is opened. The 7.6-inch main screen and 5.5-inch cover screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, the 50MP wide and 50MP ultra wide cameras and the 4,800mAh battery arrive sealed, while the unplated hinge folds exactly as Samsung tuned it.

Software is Samsung’s too: Galaxy AI, 5G and eSIM behave as on any Z Fold8, with security updates promised through 31 July 2033. Settle one point in advance. Because this back mixes leather with metal, whether it supports pad charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay depends on the build, and a consultant confirms this before you order. Wired charging through the USB‑C port works on every version.
