The Range
A Real Phone,
In a Real Metal.
Apple and Samsung both sell phones in colourways they call gold. However, those are anodised aluminium or tinted titanium — in fact, there is no precious metal in them. By comparison, a Leronza gold phone is the manufacturer’s own handset, disassembled and electroplated in genuine 24K gold, rose gold or platinum, then rebuilt and function-tested. In short: same device, same serial number, different material.

The largest canvas among our gold phones: a book-style foldable with two full panels, which is why pattern, pearl, leather and carbon work all have more to say on it than on a conventional phone.
Two housings and a hinge all need finishing and then have to close correctly, and that is why the entry price sits higher than the flat Galaxy.

The Price Is the
Work, Not the Metal.
People assume platinum must cost more than gold, but it does not — every collection of gold phones here is the same price in 24K gold, rose gold or platinum, because the metal is a fraction of what a piece costs.
What moves a price from $ 2,990 to $ 15,790 within one collection of gold phones is labour: plain plating at the bottom, then engraving, then inlay in leather or shell, then stones set one at a time by hand at the top.

What Counts as a Gold Phone
Manufacturers have sold “gold” phones for years. However, those are anodised aluminium or coated titanium tinted to look like gold, with no precious metal involved at all. In contrast, we electroplate every Leronza gold phone: we strip and prepare the housing, then give it a measured deposit of 99.9% pure gold over a barrier layer that stops the base alloy migrating into the finish. It is thick enough to be a durable finish rather than a flash coating, which is why non-electronic customisation carries a two-year warranty.
Gold iPhone or Gold Samsung?
The gold Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the least expensive way into a full gold phone at $ 3,010, and its flat back also gives engraving and inlay more room to work. By comparison, the gold iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max has the longest edition list at 37, and the strongest resale recognition. If you want the largest possible expanse of gold, the foldables — iPhone Duo and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra — give you two full panels instead of one.
What Drives the Price
Within any single collection of gold phones the metal price stays fixed, but the edition price does not. For example, Classic plating sits at the bottom of each range. Prime then adds engraved motif work. Rhodium sets a white metal against the gold. In addition, we apply exotic leather, mother of pearl and carbon fibre as inlays by hand. Finally, Ecstasy carries stones set one at a time, and it sits at the top of every range it appears in.

If you would rather not have your handset opened at all, the gold case collection uses the same metals and materials as our gold phones in a snap-on form from $ 1,030. We do nothing to the phone, so its water resistance and manufacturer warranty are unaffected — and the case moves to your next handset.

Gold Phones: Care, Warranty and Delivery
Is a gold phone still water-resistant?
No — once we open and plate the housing, the phone is no longer water-resistant, and any sign of liquid damage voids the warranty. So treat a gold phone as not water-resistant — the warranty page sets out the full terms.
What warranty comes with a gold phone?
A 2-year customisation warranty and one year on the device, from the date you receive it, as long as you do not remove the protective foil. Use a soft case, because hard, snug-fitting cases shorten the life of the plating on gold phones.
Do you ship gold phones worldwide?
Yes, to more than 40 countries, with complimentary fully insured shipping and a signature required on delivery. Once customization completes, UAE deliveries arrive in 3–5 business days, while international orders take 7–10.
