Where its sister amulets glitter, the Meandros Blessing Eye Galaxy Z Fold8 speaks in line and contrast. Its round medallion is edged with the meander, the Greek key that winds without end across ancient temple friezes, and that border encloses a single blue eye. On the broad back of Samsung’s latest foldable the medallion has a generous margin on every side. Each one begins as a factory-new, unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, refitted in our Dubai atelier with a new back panel plated 5–7 microns in Platinum, Rose Gold or 24K Gold, the pill-shaped camera surround gaining the same metal.
The medallion, made in 18K solid gold, is built in three tiers. Around the rim, angular black keys interlock in sequence; inside them runs a band of stippled gold; and in the middle a glossy blue evil eye, enamel in look, gazes outward from its dark pupil. Beyond it the panel is left as polished metal, signed only by a small engraved GoldPrivé mark towards the bottom. Every metal is the same price.

Photographed on 24K Gold, each tier is easy to tell apart: dark geometry at the edge, a soft sparkle of stippling, then a calm pool of blue. It is the one design in the range without a single stone, which gives it a graphic, almost architectural feel. Our craft ends at the back of the phone. The metal rear has one practical consequence: it screens out wireless charging and the NFC behind Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay. The Meandros Blessing Eye Galaxy Z Fold8 therefore charges through USB‑C, up to 25W, and contactless payments go through a card or a second device. Software is unaffected, from Galaxy AI to 5G and Samsung’s security patches.
