Think of a bracelet resting on a polished tray and you have the idea behind the Prestige Link Gold Galaxy Z Fold8. A thick curb chain, its interlocking links twisted flat in the classic way, runs almost the full height of the back along the right-hand side, held at each end by a small V-shaped cap. The base is a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8, Samsung’s reshaped book-style foldable, which our Dubai atelier fits with a new rear panel. Panel and chain are plated together in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, 5–7 microns of metal over every surface.
Everything else stays calm so the chain can speak. The camera island, a tall rounded pill holding two lenses at the upper left, is polished in the matching metal; near the foot a fine line of lettering names the finish above a GoldPrivé mark. Because this Fold8 is broader and shorter than earlier models, the chain sits on the panel like the clasp edge of a jewellery case. Samsung’s frame and hinge are never plated, and the three metals are priced alike. Prestige Link belongs to our Prime designs.
Links and Limits How the Chain Meets the Phone
Turn the phone in your hand and three kinds of shine appear: the flat, still mirror of the panel, the restless sparkle of the rounded links, and the clean outline of the camera island. All of them belong to the parts we make, and that is where our work ends. The Armor Aluminum frame and Armor FlexHinge keep Samsung’s factory finish, so the phone opens and closes with its original feel. Inside, nothing is disturbed: the 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen, the 5.5-inch cover screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, the 50MP wide and ultra wide pair and the 4,800mAh battery are exactly as shipped.
The one compromise is invisible. Metal across the whole rear interrupts wireless charging and the NFC handshake that Samsung Wallet uses for contactless payment. Your Prestige Link Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 is topped up through its USB‑C port, and tap-to-pay purchases are best made with a card or a watch.

What is original and what is added?
Added: a new back panel, the chain fixed to it and a polished finish on the camera island, all plated at 5–7 microns. Original: the frame, the hinge, both displays and the entire interior, which we never open.
Does the chain get in the way?
It stands slightly proud of the panel, so you feel it under your fingers, but it lies along the edge rather than across the middle. A soft pouch keeps the links and the mirror free of scratches in a bag or pocket.
Can I use a wireless charger or Samsung Wallet?
Neither. Precious metal over the rear blocks the charging field and the NFC signal, so the Prestige Link Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 charges by USB‑C cable and contactless payments need a card or another device.

You may. Ship your Galaxy Z Fold8 to the atelier and pay for the customisation only; delivery and customs in both directions are your responsibility. Contact us before sending it.
How does Prestige Link compare with its siblings?
It is the Prime design with a chain. Elite has the same mirror back with nothing on it, Pyramid and Imperial use a studded pyramid texture, and Flora is covered in raised roses. A larger-screen Fold8 Ultra edition also exists.
