The Leaping Jaguar Imperial Gold iPhone Air
At the heart of the Imperial Gold iPhone Air is a gold jaguar caught mid-leap, set on a pale white panel cut in a chevron shape. We create it from a brand-new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air, customised by hand in our Dubai atelier, and it takes its place in the Prime range for iPhone Air.
The emblem is framed with care. Polished metal bands with small fixings outline the white centre, and above and below it the plated surface carries a fine hobnail texture that catches the light around the animal. You can have the plating in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, each applied 5–7 microns deep, and none of them costs more than another.
Outside Versus Inside The Parts We Plate and the Parts We Protect
Imperial’s transformation is entirely external. A new back panel bearing the jaguar, the white chevron and the hobnail metal takes the place of Apple’s, and the titanium frame is plated so that it matches. The display, A19 Pro chip, cameras, battery and internals are never opened, so the phone keeps its Face ID, 48MP Fusion camera, 5G, eSIM, Apple Pay and iOS updates.
Plan on wired charging. MagSafe and Qi2 will not work through a plated back, which is why Imperial charges by USB‑C.

Is the phone underneath a genuine iPhone Air?
Always. We use a brand-new, unlocked iPhone Air and customise it by hand in Dubai. Face ID, Apple Pay and software updates carry on exactly as normal.
Can I use MagSafe with Imperial?
No. Neither MagSafe nor Qi2 charging works through the plated back, so Imperial is charged with a USB‑C cable, one of which comes in the box.
Is personal engraving possible?
