The Build A Plated Exterior Around Apple’s Hardware
We replace Apple’s rear panel with a new one carrying the coin engraving, the circuit traces and the plating, then plate the titanium frame in the same metal. That is the extent of it. The display, A19 Pro chip, cameras, battery and internals are never opened, so Face ID, Apple Pay, eSIM, 5G, the 48MP Fusion camera and iOS updates carry on normally.
Because the back is metal, MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging will not work. Bitcoin charges by USB‑C.
