A band of hobnail-textured precious metal runs the full length of the back, flanked on either side by pale, finely textured panels. We create it from a brand-new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air in our Dubai atelier, and it is one of the understated choices in the Prime iPhone Air selection.
There is no figure and no stone to point at; the appeal lies in contrasting surfaces. Even the camera plateau is textured to match the central band, tying the top of the phone into the design. Pick Rose Gold, 24K Gold or Platinum for the plating, laid down 5–7 microns thick, all at one price.
Under the Surface Only the Shell Is Rebuilt
Noble’s back is a new panel that replaces Apple’s, carrying the textured band, the pale side sections and the plating, while the titanium frame is plated in the same metal. We do not open the phone. Apple’s display, A19 Pro chip, cameras and battery remain original, and eSIM, Apple Pay, 5G, the 48MP Fusion camera, Face ID and iOS updates all work as expected.
Wireless charging is the thing you give up: the plated back prevents MagSafe and Qi2 from working, so Noble is charged by USB‑C.
