The Light Gold iPhone Air Gold Frame is the gentlest piece we make. It begins as a brand-new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air in Apple’s Light Gold, and in our Dubai atelier only two parts are touched: the titanium frame and the slim ring around the camera lens, plated by hand in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum at 5–7 microns. It belongs to the Classic iPhone Air collection.
Apple’s pale, warm-toned glass already leans towards gold, so a 24K edge melts into it rather than cutting across it — the subtlest pairing of the four Classic colours. Rose Gold adds a faint blush; Platinum draws a cooler line around the phone. Whichever you pick, the camera plateau and Apple logo remain exactly as they left the factory, and this is the lowest-priced route into a Leronza iPhone Air.
Glass and Metal What Stays Apple’s, and What We Plate
There is no new back panel on this edition. Apple’s own Light Gold glass remains in place, together with the camera plateau and the Apple logo. Our plating is confined to the titanium band running around the phone and the ring framing the camera lens. The display, A19 Pro chip, 48MP Fusion camera and battery are Apple’s components and are not modified, so Face ID, 5G, eSIM and Apple Pay behave normally.
Keeping the original glass is what keeps wireless charging alive. MagSafe and Qi2 chargers work at up to 20W as on an unaltered iPhone Air, and the USB‑C port works too.
