Two protective symbols share one amulet on the Hamsa Eye Amulet Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra: the open hamsa hand and, cradled in its palm, the evil eye. The phone beneath is a brand-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. By hand in Dubai, we fit it with a new back panel carrying a 5–7 micron layer of Rose Gold, 24K Gold or Platinum, and dress the camera surround to match. Of the four amulets in the Evil Eye line of our gold Fold8 Ultra collection, this is the one with the most colour.
Cast in 18K solid gold, the hand stands raised on the polished back a short distance beneath the lenses. Rows of white simulated diamonds trace its fingers, while turquoise and blue come together in the palm to form the eye. Beyond the amulet there is only smooth metal and a small GoldPrivé mark towards the base. All three metals cost the same.

The close-up on 24K Gold picks out the detail: stones follow each finger in neat lines, and turquoise and blue gather in the palm. Our atelier confines its work to the rear of the phone, meaning the new plated panel, the matching camera surround and the mounted hamsa. The hinge and frame are never plated, which leaves the folding action exactly as Samsung engineered it. Both the 8.0-inch main screen and the 6.5-inch cover screen are untouched, as are the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, the 200MP main camera and the battery.
Samsung’s software side is therefore unaffected, from Galaxy AI to 5G, eSIM and regular updates. The trade-off lies in the metal back, which blocks wireless charging and the NFC signal behind Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay.
