Every part of the Gold Turtle Paperweight and Bell, shell, head, legs and tail, is plated at 5–7 microns and polished to a mirror, so every ridge of the shell catches the light. The bell mechanism inside is left exactly as made and rings just as it did before plating. Our photographs show 24K Gold.
In Rose Gold the shell takes on a blush tone; in Platinum it turns cool and silvery. All three metals cost the same.
