The Gold Classic Magnifier brings that detail forward: a round glass lens in a polished frame, on a long handle that sits comfortably in the hand. It is one of the traditional writing-desk tools in our gold desk collection.
Fine flutes run the length of the handle between ringed collars, so the grip feels sure and light runs along every rib. Laid beside a blotter or letter opener, it completes a desk that is used as well as admired. All three metals are one price.
Metal Frame, Glass Lens What We Plate on the Gold Classic Magnifier
The frame and the handle are plated at 5–7 microns and polished to a mirror. The glass lens stays exactly as made; it is not plated or altered, so the view through it is the same in every metal. Our photographs show 24K Gold, and the third image shows the presentation box. Rose Gold and Platinum versions share the same fluted handle.
A hand magnifier needs no batteries, settings or charging. Hold it between eye and page, then move it until the text sharpens.

A hand-held magnifying glass uses a single convex lens to enlarge whatever lies beneath it.
Wipe the frame and handle with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth, and keep a separate clean cloth for the lens. No abrasive or chemical cleaners on either. Keep perfume, hand cream and moisture off the plated metal, and never leave the lens lying in direct sunlight.

The magnifier is presented in our gift box, as pictured, with a Certificate of Authenticity that can be checked on our verification page. Engraving is possible where the surface allows: initials, a brief message or an approved company logo.
