Picture a bracelet resting on an evening clutch and you have the idea behind the WildGrace Link Gold Galaxy Z Fold8. We build it from a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8, the wider book-style handset that Samsung bills as the world’s lightest foldable. In our Dubai atelier its glass back is replaced by a panel wrapped almost corner to corner in black crocodile leather, edged with a thin plated border. That border, the chain with its mounts and the camera pill are plated 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum; nobody plates the frame or the hinge.
Along the right-hand side lies a curb chain of flattened, interlocking links, anchored top and bottom by mounts stamped with a small V. Its polish plays against the deep, irregular grain of the hide. In the lower left corner an angled plated strip carries the GoldPrivé mark, and the two lenses sit in a tall, polished pill. Craft Outside Only Samsung Hardware, Left Sealed
Leather, links, mounts and the GoldPrivé strip together make up the new back; beyond that we plate just the camera surround. The phone itself is never opened, so the 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display, the 5.5-inch cover display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, the pair of 50MP rear cameras and the 4,800mAh battery stay exactly as assembled. With no plating on frame or hinge, the fold keeps its original feel.
Everyday use is unchanged too: Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM, a 10MP selfie camera on each screen and Samsung security updates until 31 July 2033. Wireless is different. Whether this leather-and-metal back allows pad charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay comes down to its configuration, so your consultant confirms it before the order is placed.
