Twin Chevrons Nucleus 2.0 Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra on a Hexagon Panel
Two bars of polished metal, one above the other, are the signature of the Nucleus 2.0 Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. We build it on a brand-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra from Samsung, swapping the rear glass for a new back panel with a fine interlocking-hexagon texture, then customising it by hand in Dubai with chevrons plated 5–7 microns thick in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. The design sits in the Rhodium line of our gold Galaxy Z Fold8 collection.
Placed just beneath the plated camera surround, the pair of chevrons dips gently at the centre, leaving the rest of the textured panel open all the way down to a small plated GoldPrivé nameplate. The panel can be ordered in Noir, as pictured, or in Verdant, Royale Blue, Crimson Red or Rose Fuchsia, and every colour costs the same. As on every Fold8 design we make, the frame and hinge receive no plating.
The Build, Layer by Layer Accents on Top, Samsung Underneath
Zoomed in on the 24K Gold version, the two chevrons show off their polished faces and small screw details against the dark hexagon texture. That layering is the whole of the customisation. Samsung’s hinge is left unplated on the Nucleus 2.0 Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, as is the frame, so folding is unchanged. Inside, the main and cover screens, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, the 200MP camera and the battery are exactly as supplied.
You keep Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM and ongoing Samsung updates. What a plated back cannot allow is wireless charging, or the NFC exchange that Samsung Wallet needs for tap-to-pay. Power comes by USB‑C cable, and contactless payments need a card or another device.

A new textured panel in your chosen colour replaces the rear glass, the two chevrons and the nameplate on it are plated at 5 to 7 microns, and the camera surround matches them. Samsung’s frame and hinge are never plated, and the displays and internals are not altered.
Does it start as an original Samsung phone?
Yes: a brand-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, hand-customised in our Dubai atelier. Samsung software, Galaxy AI and the 200MP camera all behave normally.
Is wireless charging supported?
