On the green, the putter is the one club you reach for on nearly every hole. The Gold PING DS72 Putter begins as a genuine, new PING PLD Milled DS72, bought for your order, then plated in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. It belongs to our golf clubs and the wider golf collection.
PING describes the DS72 as a face-balanced mid-mallet for a straight stroke, with a wide top rail to frame your line and a ball-width cavity between heel and toe weights. None of that milled geometry moves under the plating; only its colour changes.
Face, Rail and Shaft Where the Metal Goes
The whole head, milled face and top rail included, and the full shaft are plated at 5–7 microns and polished to a mirror. PING’s Deep AMP milling is not altered, so its pattern still reads clearly across the face. The grip is left as PING supplies it, black in our pictures.

Wipe head and shaft with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth, never an abrasive or chemical cleaner. After putting in wet conditions, dry the club before casing it, and keep hand cream, sunscreen and perfume off the plated metal.
