The Prestige Link Gold Galaxy S26 Ultra treats Samsung’s flagship the way a jeweller treats a wrist. Its starting point is a factory-new, unlocked Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which our Dubai atelier fits with a new back panel before plating that panel and the frame in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum at a thickness of 5–7 microns. The defining detail is a heavy curb chain in the same metal, running from top to bottom along the right-hand side of the back and anchored at each end by a round cap. Around it the back stays mirror-smooth, so the links catch the light. A GoldPrivé mark is engraved lower down and the camera lens rings are finished to match. Every metal costs the same.

On the Prestige Link Gold Galaxy S26 Ultra, all of our work happens on the outside. A new back panel takes the place of Samsung’s rear glass and carries both the chain and the plating, while the Armor Aluminum frame receives the same metal so that sides and back read as one piece. Inside, nothing is disturbed: the display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, the 200MP main camera and the battery remain exactly as they left Samsung, and Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM and software updates behave normally.
There is one practical trade-off. Wireless charging cannot pass through a solid metal back, and the same is true of the NFC signal that Samsung Wallet relies on for tap-to-pay. This edition is therefore charged with a USB‑C cable, so keep a bank card to hand for contactless purchases.

Is the phone underneath a real Galaxy S26 Ultra?
It is. We begin with a brand-new, unlocked Galaxy S26 Ultra and customise it by hand in Dubai; the S Pen, the 200MP camera, Galaxy AI and Samsung’s software updates all work as usual.
Can I charge it wirelessly or pay with Samsung Wallet?
Neither works through the plated back, because metal stops both the charging field and the NFC signal used for tap-to-pay. The Prestige Link Gold Galaxy S26 Ultra charges by USB‑C cable instead. If wireless charging is essential, look at the Classic designs, which keep Samsung’s own back.

It pairs a polished back with jewellery.
