Navy is the Marine Band for people who want colour that still passes as formal. In daylight it shows clearly blue; indoors and after dark it settles towards ink, leaving the plated bezel around the 1.5-inch screen to do the talking. On the navy version, metal goes on in two places. On the watch head, that means the bezel together with the buttons, the Quick Button included; on the strap, only the buckle and the loop that holds its tail. The navy band keeps Samsung’s colour and texture, and the titanium case sides stay as Samsung finished them, which is what gives this Ultra2 its two-tone look. Screen, processor, sensors, battery and sensor back are left entirely alone.
With the underside untouched, the Samsung wireless charger in the box still docks against it and charges normally, while workouts, health tracking and Wear OS updates behave as they would on a standard Ultra2. You set the fit yourself at the buckle by choosing whichever hole is comfortable, so the watch can pass from one wrist to another without a visit to us.
