Where the Nucleus designs cross the back with bars, the Nexus Link Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 lets a single curb chain fall straight down it, like a bracelet draped along the edge of a closed notebook. The notebook is Samsung’s newest Galaxy Z Fold8, a wider book-style foldable billed as the world’s lightest, which we buy brand-new and unlocked. In Dubai our artisans replace its glass rear with a panel embossed in fine interlocking hexagons, then plate the chain 5–7 microns deep in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, all by hand.
The chain runs close to the right-hand edge, from near the top of the back almost to its foot, and each end is anchored by a pointed, faceted cap. To its left, the tall camera island carries a surround in the same metal. Low on the opposite side, the GoldPrivé name is set sideways into the relief. The rest is quiet, dark texture. Our photographs show Noir; Royale Blue, Verdant, Rose Fuchsia and Crimson Red are each available for the same price. Day to day, the Nexus Link Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 works like any Fold8, with Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM and Samsung security updates promised through 31 July 2033. Only the wireless features change. A metal-plated rear prevents pad charging and cuts off the NFC connection Samsung Wallet uses for tap-to-pay, so power arrives over the USB‑C cable (25W wired) and contactless payments move to a card or another device.

What do you add to the phone?
A new back panel with hexagon relief, in your chosen colour, replaces the glass. The chain, its two caps and the nameplate are plated 5 to 7 microns thick, and the camera surround is matched. We never plate the frame or hinge, and the internals are not touched.
Do the cameras work as normal?
Yes. The plated surround frames the lenses without covering them, so both 50MP rear cameras and the selfie cameras behave exactly as Samsung intended.
Can I charge it wirelessly or use Samsung Wallet?
No. The plated back of the Nexus Link Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 blocks wireless charging and the NFC signal for Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay. Charge it by USB‑C cable and pay contactless with a card or another device.
Can it be used in the rain or near a pool?
