18K Solid Gold iPhone 17 Pro: All Six Designs, Gold Weights and Live Prices

Viridian 18K solid gold iPhone 17 Pro Max with a gold chevron pattern over green leather

Almost every gold iPhone at Leronza is a genuine iPhone with a 5 to 7 micron layer of 24K gold, rose gold or platinum. One small collection works differently. In the 18K Gold iPhone 17 Pro & Pro Max line, the key design elements are made from solid 18K gold, listed as 18K (750), meaning 75% gold by weight. Each product page also lists roughly how many grams of it go into the design.

There are six designs in the collection. This guide compares all six, with the listed gold weight, the materials and the live price for every configuration. It also shows where the line sits against the plated Gold iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max range, so you can decide whether solid gold is worth it for you.

How the 18K editions are built

The product pages describe the same basic construction for every design. You get a genuine iPhone 17 Pro or Pro Max. The decorative back elements are made of solid 18K gold, and the specification tables list the frame as aluminium with plating. So it is not a solid-gold phone. As our guide to solid gold vs gold-plated iPhones explains, the phone body itself is never solid gold. What you are paying for here is a measurable weight of solid gold that does not wear through, where a plated phone has a few microns of gold.

The product options differ from the plated range in three ways that matter before you start comparing prices:

  • No finish choice. The plated designs let you choose 24K gold, rose gold or platinum. The 18K designs come in one fixed colour scheme each.
  • High capacities only. The Pro (6.3") is listed at 1 TB only. The Pro Max (6.9") is listed at 1 TB or 2 TB. There is no 256 GB or 512 GB entry option.
  • A new phone is included. The variations are for size and capacity only, with no option to send in your own iPhone, so the handset is part of the price.

The weights are the approximate figures from each product page’s “Gold Specs” table. The descriptions of each look come from the product photos. Prices are the live listing prices and update automatically.

Design Look and materials Listed 18K weight Pro, 1 TB Pro Max, 1 TB Pro Max, 2 TB
Royaltique Vertical bracelet-style strip of gold links between brushed silver-tone bars 70–90 g $ 15,920 $ 17,910 $ 18,510
Luxoro Alternating vertical elements in 18K gold and silver under a curved gold top panel 70–90 g $ 15,920 $ 17,910 $ 18,510
Aurique Horizontal 18K gold bars across a platinum-plated brushed back 80–100 g $ 17,910 $ 19,900 $ 20,500
Monarque 18K gold lattice over a chocolate-brown leather inlay 100–120 g $ 21,890 $ 23,880 $ 24,480
Zarqa 18K gold geometric lattice over leather, with four mother-of-pearl inlays 100–120 g $ 21,890 $ 23,880 $ 23,840
Viridian 18K gold chevron pattern over a deep green leather inlay 110–130 g $ 23,880 $ 25,870 $ 26,470

What the table shows

Price follows the gold weight

Sort the six designs by listed gold weight and they fall into almost the same order by price. The two lightest designs, Royaltique and Luxoro at 70–90 g each, have identical prices at every configuration. Aurique, at 80–100 g, comes next. The three designs that lay a gold lattice over leather are the heaviest and the most expensive. Monarque and Zarqa, both listed at 100–120 g, share a 1 TB Pro price, and Viridian, the heaviest at 110–130 g, tops the line. In this collection the amount of gold matters far more to the price than the pattern does.

That gives you a simple way to choose. If two designs appeal equally, the lighter one is the cheaper one. If you want the most solid gold you can get, Viridian has the highest listed weight.

The size and capacity steps are fixed

The step from Pro to Pro Max at 1 TB is the same amount on all six designs. On Royaltique, for example, it runs from $ 15,920 to $ 17,910. The step from 1 TB to 2 TB on the Pro Max is also the same on five of the six. Royaltique goes from $ 17,910 to $ 18,510, for example. Both steps are small next to the price gap between designs, so pick the design first and the phone configuration second.

Check before you order: on Zarqa, the 2 TB Pro Max is currently listed at $ 23,840, which is not higher than its 1 TB Pro Max price of $ 23,880. All the other designs charge more for 2 TB. Confirm the exact configuration and price with the team on WhatsApp before you pay the deposit.

Worked example: what does solid gold add?

The fairest comparison keeps the phone constant. Here is a 1 TB iPhone 17 Pro Max, from a plain plated design up to the heaviest 18K design, all at live prices:

$ 3,499 Amethyst Royale, a matte-colour design with a 24K gold-plated finish
$ 5,990 IconixEdge, a plated design set with simulated diamonds
$ 14,290 IconixEdge with VS1 diamonds, the most expensive plated 17 Pro listing at this capacity
$ 17,910 Royaltique, the entry 18K design (70–90 g of 18K gold)
$ 25,870 Viridian, the heaviest 18K design (110–130 g of 18K gold)

The ladder shows two things. First, the cheapest 18K edition costs several times more than a plain plated phone of the same size and storage. You are buying a quantity of gold, not just a gold finish. Second, the top of the plated range sits not far below the bottom of the 18K range. Someone deciding between real diamonds and solid gold is comparing two products at nearly the same price. That is the real choice for most buyers at this level.

Across the whole plated 17 Pro and Pro Max range, prices run from $ 2,799 to $ 14,890. The 18K line starts at $ 15,920 and runs to $ 26,470. For the full plated range, see every Gold iPhone 17 Pro design with real prices.

Is the 18K edition right for you?

Choose the 18K line if…

  • You want a listed weight of solid gold rather than a plated layer.
  • You would buy 1 TB or 2 TB anyway, so the high-capacity-only rule costs you nothing.
  • You like one of the six fixed colour schemes as it is.
  • You are already looking at the diamond-set plated designs, which cost nearly as much.

Stay with the plated range if…

  • You want to choose between 24K gold, rose gold and platinum.
  • You want 256 GB or 512 GB, or want to send in your own iPhone.
  • You would rather have the newer iPhone 18 Pro. The 18K line is an iPhone 17 Pro collection (see the 17 Pro Max vs 18 Pro Max price gap).
  • Your budget is closer to the plated range than to the 18K starting price.

What comes with it, and what to plan for

  • In the box: each product page lists a black leather presentation box, an Apple USB-C charger, a 20W USB-C power adapter, a 2 m USB-C charge cable, a Leronza certificate of authenticity, a polishing cloth and a care guide.
  • Charging: Leronza does not support wireless charging on plated or stone-set backs. These backs carry solid metal on top of that, so plan on charging by cable. The box includes Apple’s cable and adapter.
  • Personalisation: the product pages offer paid custom engraving (a name, initials, a short message or a logo), which you can preview before ordering.
  • Timing: each piece is made to order. The product page estimates dispatch in 7–14 working days, and the team calls within 2 business days of your order to go through the details.
  • Payment: you can pay a 50% deposit or the full amount. See how to pay for a gold iPhone at Leronza.
  • Shipping: complimentary, insured and tracked, with a signature required on delivery. There are no import duties for the UAE and UK. Elsewhere, the buyer pays any duties.
  • Warranty and returns: the customisation carries a 2-year warranty (what voids it). Returns are not offered on made-to-order pieces.

Solid gold is softer than steel, so the care advice in our gold iPhone care guide applies here too: use the supplied cloth and keep the phone away from keys and abrasive surfaces. If you buy anywhere, our guide on spotting a fake 24K gold iPhone lists the questions to ask any seller who claims a product is “solid gold”. Frequently asked questions

Is the 18K gold iPhone 17 Pro made of solid gold?

The design elements on the back are solid 18K (750) gold, and each product page lists their approximate weight, from 70–90 g on the lightest designs to 110–130 g on Viridian. The phone itself is a genuine iPhone 17 Pro or Pro Max, and the specification tables list a plated aluminium frame. The whole phone is not made of solid gold.

How much does an 18K gold iPhone 17 Pro Max cost?

The 18K line starts at $ 15,920 and runs to $ 26,470. The price depends mainly on the design, which tracks the amount of gold used, and then on the size (Pro or Pro Max) and capacity (1 TB or 2 TB).

Can I choose rose gold or platinum on the 18K designs?

No. The 18K designs come in a fixed colour scheme each. The 24K gold, rose gold and platinum finish choice applies to the plated Gold iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max range.

Which storage sizes are available?

The Pro is listed at 1 TB only and the Pro Max at 1 TB or 2 TB. There are no 256 GB or 512 GB options in this collection.

Can I send in my own iPhone for an 18K design?

The 18K product pages only offer size and capacity options, with a new iPhone included. To customise a phone you already own, use the plated designs or ask the team about Leronza’s send-in service.
