Garden roses cut deep into precious metal, then a field of shimmering shell below: the Royale Pearl Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 is the most decorated of our pearl pieces. It starts as a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8, the wider, book-style model Samsung introduces as the world’s lightest foldable. Our Dubai atelier takes off the rear glass and fits a new back whose metal, like the tall camera pill, is plated 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. We never plate the frame or the hinge.

The top third is a dense garden of open roses and curling leaves, rendered in engraving that flows around both lenses. Its lower edge dips gently to a shallow point along a polished rail set with two small round studs. Below, genuine mother of pearl covers the remaining surface down to a plated GoldPrivé plaque. Decoration, Not Disassembly Every Samsung Component Stays Original

Engraving, rail, shell and plaque all form part of the replacement back; the plated camera surround is the only other change we make. We do not open the phone. Its 7.6-inch QXGA+ main screen, 5.5-inch WUXGA+ cover screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, two 50MP rear cameras and 4,800mAh battery stay sealed, and because neither the Armor Aluminum frame nor the Armor FlexHinge carries plating, the fold moves as it should.

So the Royale Pearl Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 runs Galaxy AI, 5G and eSIM normally, records 8K video at 30fps and receives Samsung security updates until 31 July 2033. Wireless charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay are the exceptions. With shell and metal combined, their availability depends on the configuration, and a consultant confirms both before you buy. Wireless charging is the row that changes: on Royale it varies with the configuration and is confirmed by a consultant before ordering, though USB‑C cable charging always works. IP48 belongs to the unmodified handset; after customisation the phone has no rated protection, so keep it clear of water.

Which parts are new?

The back panel and the camera surround. Our panel, with its engraving, rail, shell and plaque, replaces Samsung’s glass and is plated 5–7 microns thick wherever it is metal; the camera pill is finished to match. No plating touches the frame or hinge, and the screens and internals are not altered.

Is the phone new?

Yes, a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 for every order, finished by hand in Dubai. If you would rather use a Z Fold8 you already own, send it in and pay only for the customisation; shipping and customs each way are at your cost.

Will wireless charging and tap-to-pay work?

Is every pearl panel the same?

No. Mother of pearl is the natural lining of a shell, so its colour and pattern differ from piece to piece. The renders show the character of the material, not your exact panel.
