The Gold Apple Watch Ultra 4 Link Band takes Apple’s toughest watch and gives it the presence of a precious-metal bracelet watch. Each one begins as a brand-new Apple Watch Ultra 4 with its Grade 5 titanium case, which our Dubai atelier plates in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum at 5–7 microns before fitting a bracelet finished in that same metal. The Ultra’s wide, flat-fronted 49mm case needs a bracelet with the shoulders to match it, and the Link Band answers with wide links buffed to a mirror shine and laid edge to edge. The result reads as one continuous piece of metal from the case to the clasp. It suits someone who wants the Ultra’s size and screen with the finish of a dress watch.
Plated Case, Apple Inside What Changes on the Ultra, and What Does Not
Our atelier plates the titanium case, the Digital Crown, the side button and the Action button, then finishes the bracelet to the same colour, link for link. Nothing inside is touched: Apple’s flat sapphire crystal, display, S11 chip, sensors and battery stay factory-original, as does the dark sensor back on the underside.
That untouched back is why Apple’s magnetic charging puck still clicks straight on, and why heart-rate readings, sleep score, workouts and watchOS updates behave just as on an unmodified Ultra 4. Which parts of the Link Band watch are plated?
Four exterior parts take the metal: the titanium case, the Digital Crown, the side button and the Action button, each at 5 to 7 microns. The bracelet repeats that finish in every link. Crystal, screen and sensor back stay untouched.
Is the watch underneath a real Apple Watch Ultra 4?
It is. We start from a new, unworn Ultra 4 and work on it by hand in Dubai; its S11 chip, health sensors and watchOS behave precisely as Apple designed them.
Will Apple’s charger still work?
Yes. We never plate the sensor back, so the magnetic fast-charging cable supplied with the watch snaps on in the usual way and, by Apple’s figures, reaches 80% in around 45 minutes.

Can I dive or swim with it, and what about warranty?
Please don’t. Apple’s 100 m and 40 m dive ratings describe the unmodified watch and are not something to rely on after plating. Apple may also regard the watch as modified, and that can affect the manufacturer warranty; Leronza Care looks after everything we customise.
How does the Link Band compare with the other Ultra straps?
