Imperial Gold iPhone Duo With a Leaping Jaguar

The Imperial Gold iPhone Duo is defined by motion. A gold jaguar leaps across a silver-tone centre panel, set between two sections of finely textured precious metal that frame the cameras above and the signature plaque below.

The textured metal is available in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, and the contrast with the pale centre panel makes the emblem stand out even from across a room. It is the most expensive-looking edition in the Prime collection.

Power on the Back, Apple Precision at the Hinge

For all its presence, Imperial does not alter how the Apple iPhone Duo works. Its frame, hinge and displays stay exactly as Apple made them; only the rear panel is exchanged for the jaguar back plate.

Every core feature continues, including Apple Pay and USB‑C charging. MagSafe and wireless charging are the one casualty of a metal plate, so keep a cable handy.

MagSafe and Qi2 are not supported through the metal plate, so Imperial charges over USB‑C. A customised Duo is not water resistant and needs to be kept away from water.

Frequently Asked Questions

Imperial Gold iPhone Duo Everything You Need to Know

What does the Imperial jaguar symbolise?

The jaguar is associated with power, agility and confidence, which is why Imperial is often chosen by leaders and collectors.

What are the textured sections made of?

They are part of the replaced metal back plate, finished in your choice of 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum.

Is the Imperial Gold iPhone Duo the top of the Prime range?

It is among the highest-priced Prime editions. See every design in the Prime category.

Does the design extend to the frame?

No. The jaguar panel and textures are on the back plate only; the frame and hinge are Apple-original.

Will MagSafe work with Imperial?

No. The precious-metal plate stops wireless power, so MagSafe is not supported; USB‑C fast charging is.

How much does Imperial cost?

Imperial costs $ 4,890 to $ 6,390 depending on storage capacity.

How does it compare with Le Lion Fleur?

Both feature a powerful animal. Le Lion Fleur Gold iPhone Duo sets a lion head in baroque scrollwork, while Imperial uses a sleek jaguar silhouette.

What about warranty and water resistance?

Because the rear panel is replaced by a third party, Apple warranty may be affected and the phone is no longer water resistant. The customised back plate is covered by Leronza.
