The CarbonFiber Royale Gold iPhone Duo sets old-world ornament against high-tech texture. Its upper band is engraved with baroque scrollwork in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, while woven carbon fibre covers the lower two-thirds of the back plate.

Two small fixings mark the boundary, like the rivets on a race car body. It is the most unexpected pairing in the Carbon Fiber collection and a favourite with car collectors.

Engraving and carbon are both confined to the new back plate. The frame, hinge and screens of the Apple iPhone Duo are never touched, so the device folds just as smoothly as it did new.

You keep Apple Pay, the full camera system and USB‑C fast charging. Wireless charging, including MagSafe, is not supported with the metal plate.
