The Range
A Real Phone,
In a Real Metal.
Apple and Samsung both sell colourways they call gold. Those are anodised aluminium or tinted titanium — there is no precious metal in them. A Leronza gold phone is the manufacturer’s own handset, disassembled and electroplated in genuine 24K gold, rose gold or platinum, then rebuilt and function-tested. Same device, same serial number, different material.
Prices
What Every Gold Phone
Actually Costs.
Live price ranges across each collection, in US dollars. The low end is the entry edition; the high end is the most heavily worked piece in that collection.
| Collection | Editions | Price range (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| 24K Gold Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra | 25 | $1,505 – $8,780 |
| 24K Gold iPhone Cases | 19 | $1,390 – $2,290 |
| 24K Gold iPhone Air 2 | 28 | $2,390 – $13,990 |
| 24K Gold iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max | 37 | $2,799 – $14,890 |
| 24K Gold iPhone Fold Ultra | 37 | $2,799 – $14,890 |
| 24K Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra | 26 | $3,715 – $11,490 |
Prices are in USD and the site’s currency switcher converts to AED. What moves a price within a collection is the edition — plain plating at the bottom, stone-set and inlaid work at the top — not the metal: 24K gold, rose gold and platinum cost the same. Engraving and bespoke stone work are quoted separately.

01 — iPhone
24K Gold iPhone 18
Pro & Pro Max.
The most requested gold iPhone in the range and the widest edition list — plain Classic plating through Prime engraving, Rhodium two-tone, stone-set Ecstasy, exotic leather, mother of pearl and carbon fibre.
Finished in 24K gold, rose gold or platinum at the same price, on Apple’s own Pro and Pro Max housings.

02 — iPhone
24K Gold
iPhone Air 2.
The thinnest body Apple makes, and the one where a precious-metal finish reads most cleanly — there is very little camera hardware interrupting the back panel, so the gold runs almost uninterrupted.
Slightly lower entry price than the Pro line, with the same seven edition families.

03 — Foldable iPhone
24K Gold
iPhone Fold Ultra.
Apple’s folding iPhone, finished across both panels and the hinge spine. The fold line is masked so the mechanism itself is never coated, and the hinge is cycled and checked after the rebuild.
Technically the hardest job in the range, and the largest continuous gold surface on any iPhone.

04 — Samsung
24K Gold Samsung
Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The lowest entry price of any gold phone in the range. Samsung’s flat rail and large camera island take plating particularly well, and the flat back gives engraving and inlay more room than a curved body does.
Includes Evil Eye, exotic skin and pearl editions alongside the signature patterns.

05 — Samsung Foldable
24K Gold Samsung
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
The largest canvas in the range: a book-style foldable with two full panels, which is why pattern, pearl, leather and carbon work all have more to say on it than on a conventional phone.
Two housings and a hinge all have to be finished and then made to close correctly, which is what sets the entry price higher than the flat Galaxy.

06 — Cases
24K Gold
iPhone Cases.
The same metals, patterns and materials as the phones — as a case for an iPhone you already own. Nothing is done to the handset itself, so the manufacturer’s water resistance and warranty are untouched.
The least expensive way into the range, and the only one that can be moved to your next phone.

The Price Is the
Work, Not the Metal.
People assume platinum must cost more than gold. It does not — every collection here is the same price in 24K gold, rose gold or platinum, because the metal is a fraction of what a piece costs.
What moves a price from $2,799 to $14,890 within one collection is labour: plain plating at the bottom, then engraving, then inlay in leather or shell, then stones set one at a time by hand at the top.
How the plating is done
Gold Phones by Leronza GoldPrivé.
Six collections, one atelier. Every gold phone on this page is a genuine Apple or Samsung handset finished in real precious metal — not a colourway, not a wrap, not a sticker.
What Counts as a Gold Phone
Manufacturers have sold “gold” phones for years. Those are anodised aluminium or coated titanium tinted to look like gold, with no precious metal involved at all. A Leronza gold phone is electroplated: the housing is stripped, prepared, and given a measured deposit of 99.9% pure gold over a barrier layer that stops the base alloy migrating into the finish. It is thick enough to be a durable finish rather than a flash coating, which is why non-electronic customisation carries a two-year warranty.
Gold iPhone or Gold Samsung?
The gold Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the least expensive way into a full gold phone at $1,505, and its flat back gives engraving and inlay more room to work. The gold iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max has the longest edition list at 37, and the strongest resale recognition. If you want the largest possible expanse of gold, the foldables — iPhone Fold Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra — give you two full panels instead of one.
What Drives the Price
Within any single collection the metal is fixed in price; the edition is not. Classic plating sits at the bottom of each range. Prime adds engraved motif work. Rhodium sets a white metal against the gold. Exotic leather, mother of pearl and carbon fibre are inlays applied by hand. Ecstasy is stone-set, placed one stone at a time, and sits at the top of every range it appears in.
A Case Instead of a Phone
If you would rather not have your handset opened at all, the gold case collection uses the same metals and materials in a snap-on form from $1,390. Nothing is done to the phone, so its water resistance and manufacturer warranty are unaffected — and the case moves to your next handset.
Using the Phone You Already Own
Every collection here is also available as a customisation of your own device. You keep the handset, the serial number and everything on it; it comes back in precious metal. Pricing, collections and the full process are on Customise Your Device.
Beyond Phones
The same atelier finishes Apple Watches, iPads, MacBooks and 24K gold gifts, and will plate objects that are not devices at all through gold plating services.

Frequently Asked Questions
Gold Phones, Answered.
How much does a gold phone cost?
From $1,505 for a 24K gold Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra up to $14,890 for the most heavily worked gold iPhone. Each collection has its own range: iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max $2,799–$14,890, iPhone Air 2 $2,390–$13,990, iPhone Fold Ultra $2,799–$14,890, Galaxy S26 Ultra $1,505–$8,780, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra $3,715–$11,490. Gold cases run $1,390–$2,290.
Is the gold real?
Yes — genuine 24K gold, rose gold or platinum, electroplated to a hard-wearing thickness over a barrier layer, not a flash coating or a coloured finish. Every piece ships with a Certificate of Authenticity and a serial number you can check.
Does platinum cost more than gold?
No. All three finishes are the same price in every collection. What changes the price is the edition — plain plating, engraving, inlay, or hand-set stones.
Which is the cheapest gold phone?
The 24K gold Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, from $1,505. If you only want the look on a phone you already own, a gold case starts at $1,390 and nothing is done to the handset.
Can you gold plate my existing phone?
Yes. You keep your handset and its serial number; it comes back finished in precious metal. Prices and the full process are on Customise Your Device.
Is a gold phone still water-resistant?
No. Once the housing has been opened and plated the manufacturer’s water-resistance rating can no longer be guaranteed, and any sign of liquid damage voids the warranty. Treat a gold phone as not water-resistant — the warranty page sets out the full terms.
What warranty comes with a gold phone?
A 2-year customisation warranty and one year on the device, from the date you receive it, provided the protective foil is not removed. Use a soft case — hard, snug-fitting cases shorten the life of the plating.
Do you ship gold phones worldwide?
Yes, to more than 40 countries, with complimentary fully insured shipping and a signature required on delivery. UAE deliveries arrive in 3–5 business days and international in 7–10, after customization completes.
Gold iPhone or gold Samsung — which should I choose?
Samsung for the lowest entry price and the flattest canvas for pattern work; iPhone for the widest edition list and the strongest recognition. If the surface area matters most to you, choose one of the two foldables.
