Carbon Inside an Engraved Cartouche
CarbonFiber Noble sets a woven carbon field inside a raised, engraved gold cartouche — the armorial framing of our Noble edition applied to a technical material. The contrast is deliberate: hand-cut heraldic engraving around a machine-precise 3K twill. The cartouche centre is left blank for a crest, monogram or date, and the whole frame is plated at 5 to 7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum.
Engrave, Plate, Then Bond
Order matters here. The cartouche is engraved and plated first so the gold fills the cut properly; the carbon panel is bonded into the field afterwards, which keeps the composite out of the plating chemistry entirely. Crest artwork is proofed with you before cutting. The hinge spine can be finished plain, rope-milled or pavé-set with diamonds.
