Pavé Across the Camera and Spine
IconixBold takes the Iconix setting and carries it further: full pavé around the camera plateau and a continuous band running the length of the hinge spine. That spine band is what distinguishes the edition — on a folding device it is the one surface that stays visible whether the phone is open or shut, and lighting it with stones changes the object completely. The remaining body is plated at 5 to 7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum.
Setting Around a Moving Joint
Running pavé along a hinge is the hardest setting job we take on. The band has to stop cleanly at the pivot points, the seats have to be milled without thinning the housing, and the assembly has to be re-torqued so the fold action is unchanged. We prototype the spine layout for every capacity before cutting seats. Stones are VS clarity, F–G colour as standard, certified and supplied with documentation.
