Imperial is built around a single figure: a jaguar in mid-stride, chased in high relief across the folded outer panel with the hinge line running behind it rather than through it. Getting that placement right is most of the work — a few millimetres off and the animal is cut in half every time the phone closes. Plated at 5 to 7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, the musculature holds shadow properly and the spotted coat is punched in as a secondary texture.
Stone Setting and Frame
The jaguar's eyes are set by hand and are where most buyers spend: emeralds are traditional, though sapphires and rubies both work against yellow gold. Beyond that, the spotted field can be picked out with black rhodium for contrast, and the hinge spine can be pavé-set with diamonds.
