The Le Lion Fleur iPhone Fold Ultra is the most figurative piece in the Prime range: a rampant lion in high relief above a hand-chased fleur-de-lis field, wrapped around a folding chassis.
The Lion and the Fleur-de-Lis
Le Lion Fleur pairs two of the oldest motifs in European ornament and scales them for a panel that folds. The lion occupies the upper outer panel where it stays fully visible when the device is shut; the fleur field runs beneath and continues across the spine. Both are chased by hand, then plated at 5 to 7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum so the raised mane and petal tips catch light before the background does.
High Relief Against Low
The edition works because of the contrast between two cutting depths. High relief for the lion, low for the fleur field — a hierarchy that keeps the composition legible at arm’s length, which flat printed graphics never manage.
