The folded outer panel of the Fold Ultra is broad and flat — far better canvas than any slab back — and we hand-set the engraving before plating so the letterforms fill with 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum rather than sitting on top of it. Depth is cut to roughly 0.15mm, enough to catch a shadow without ever snagging a pocket. Monograms, full signatures, Arabic calligraphy and family crests are all within scope.
Balanced Across the Fold
An engraving that looks correct on a flat phone can read badly on a device that folds in half, so we lay out every Signature commission against the closed silhouette first. Text is centred on the visual panel rather than the geometric one, which keeps it optically level once the hinge is accounted for. From there you can specify a diamond border framing the engraving, a polished counter-relief background, or a second smaller mark on the inner spine that only you will ever see.
Presented With Its Certificate
Because a Signature piece is genuinely one of one, its Certificate of Authenticity records the engraving artwork alongside the serial and finish. That documentation ships inside the leather presentation case with the folded device, original Apple papers, USB-C cable and a complimentary 20W adapter.
