The Hamsa in Raised Gold

The Hamsa Eye Amulet places an open right hand with a central eye at the middle of the folded outer panel, struck in relief and finished with the chassis at 5 to 7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. The hamsa is one of the oldest protective motifs in Levantine and North African decorative traditions, and it is a symmetrical form — which makes it unusually well suited to a folding device, because it sits square on the panel and stays balanced whether the phone is open or shut.

Enamel and Stone Options

The eye at the centre of the hand is the detail that carries the piece. As standard it is finished in cobalt and white vitreous enamel, fired in layers and polished flat with the surrounding gold. A set sapphire can replace the enamel iris if you prefer stone, and the surrounding fingers can be outlined in pavé. The hinge spine is left plain by default so the amulet remains the only ornament on the device.
