Greek Key Around the Eye
Meandros Blessing Eye surrounds a central enamel eye with a meandros — the interlocking Greek key border that runs continuously without a start or an end. On a folding chassis the pattern is laid so it completes a full circuit of the outer panel when closed and continues across the spine when opened, which takes more planning than a symmetrical motif but produces the only ornament in the collection that genuinely wraps the device. Plated at 5 to 7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum.
Cutting a Continuous Border
A Greek key only works if the repeat lands exactly at the corners — an interrupted meander is immediately obvious. The border is therefore scaled to each capacity's panel dimensions rather than applied at a fixed size, so the repeat resolves cleanly on all four sides. The central eye is fired enamel as standard, with a set sapphire available, and the key itself can be picked out in black rhodium for contrast against the gold.
